Lest you think you’ve seen every 2017 theatrical animated release, along comes Lionsgate with its limited release next week of Hedgehogs. Directed by Jianming Huang, with a voice cast that includes Chevy Chase and Jon Hader, the Chinese import (originally announced as “Bobby The Hedgehog”) will be both in theaters and available On Demand (VOD – Cable, Amazon Instant, Google Play, iTunes) on December 15th.

The prideful and arrogant Bobby is the strongest hedgehog as well as the exception and rebellion in the whole hedgehog tribe. However, During his fight with “Tie Tui”, he accidently gets hurt, loses his memory and starts a mysterious journey with Hubert, a featherbrained pigeon. They make their way to the big city, where stressed-out humans are losing their minds. Bobby and Hubert must calm the nervous citizens by being their cute, cuddly selves.
