Here are the first look images for Netflix’s upcoming anime series, Dino Girl Gauko, a 7-minute comedy from prominent Japanese anime director Akira Shigino (Crayon Shin-chan, Line Town, Osomatsu-kun), which launches on November 22nd. In this Netflix original comedy series set in Japan, Naoko Watanabe is a typical 14 year old, except that she possesses a strange gift and curse. When her anger exceeds a maximum level she turns into Gauko the fire breathing dinosaur girl!

The series has high international resonance and was well received during the 2019 Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Animated and designed in the popular “gag anime” style, Dino Girl Gauko is a character-driven show with physical humor that appeals to viewers across the globe through its relatable themes and hilariously absurd moments – including nonhuman characters.
