The film takes place just after the end of season 2, with the lovable Kanna Kamui being pulled in two directions, forced to choose between her two families: Human or Dragon? Both seasons 1 and 2 are available for binging or re-watching on Crunchyroll in preparation for the film!

Just an ordinary office worker, Miss Kobayashi inexplicably leaves for work one morning to find a dragon waiting at her doorstep. That dragon, Tohru, announces that she owes Kobayashi a great debt for pulling a sword out of her back. Kobayashi remembers none of this, having been drunk last night. Still, Tohru’s ability to transform into a mostly-human maid leads her to try to pay her debt back… whether Kobayashi wants her to or not!

Synopsis:

Their peaceful, settled life comes to an abrupt end when Kanna’s father Kamun Kamui forces her to return home to the Dragon World. A war hangs in the balance between Chaos and Harmony, just as Kanna hangs between friends and her father. Somehow, she has to unite the two worlds, but Miss Kobayashi won’t leave her to face this alone.
