Disney+ and Hulu have set a June 29 U.S. premiere date for the all-new animated series Adventure Time: Side Quests, produced by Cartoon Network Studios.

Serving as a companion series to the original Emmy®, Peabody, and Annie Award-winning Adventure Time, the new show follows young adventurer Finn and his loyal magical dog Jake as they journey through the fantastical Land of Ooo — from partying with cloud people to literally kicking evil in the butt.

Known for its emotional storytelling, offbeat humor, and imaginative world-building, Adventure Time became a fan-favorite phenomenon. Adventure Time: Side Quests captures the charm and energy of the series’ early seasons with lighter, standalone stories full of silly missions and chaotic fun. The series is designed to welcome a new generation into Ooo while giving longtime fans more of the Finn and Jake adventures they love.

Sasha Knight voices Finn the Human, while John DiMaggio reprises his role as Jake the Dog. The series also features the return of beloved characters including Ice King (Tom Kenny), Princess Bubblegum (Hynden Walch), Marceline (Olivia Olson), and BMO (Niki Yang).

Showrunner and executive producer Nate Cash shared: “Making Side Quests felt a lot like creating the original Adventure Time — like a bunch of art school friends getting together to make cartoons professionally. It was this huge mix of emotions in the best way. Fans are going to have a blast with these NEW adventures featuring Finn & Jake!”

The series is executive produced by Nate Cash, with Darrick Bachman serving as story editor. Victor Courtright and Niki Yang direct, Nick Cross serves as art director, and Matthew Janszen composes the music.
