And the Oscar Goes to… Pixar’s “Soul” and “If Anything Happens I Love You”

In case you missed it – and it seems many did… This year’s Academy Award for Best Animated Feature went to Pixar’s Soul. Best Animated Short was awarded to “If Anything Happens I Love You”. Both films were indeed Oscar-worthy, but clearly the Academy adhered to its longtime traditions – favoring films that touch the heart.

Director Pete Docter and producer Dana Murray accepted the award (from actress Reese Witherspoon). Video below:


Writers and Directors Will McCormack and Michael Govier accepted the award for the short animated “If Anything Happens I Love You”:
