For American Detective Conan fans nationwide, TMS Entertainment has announced the Detective Conan Cinema Tour 2026, which will bring the latest movie in the beloved murder mystery franchise, Detective Conan: The Million-dollar Pentagram to major anime events all across the United States starting this July 2nd. Find your local screening at an anime event near you, and join in the fun of Conan’s latest adventure centering around the beloved Kid the Phantom Thief. 

Detective Conan: The Million-dollar Pentagram will first be screened this upcoming July 2nd to July 5th in Los Angeles, CA, for Anime Expo 2026. Then in the eastern coast, Otakon in Washington, D.C. will screen from July 31st to August 2nd, until Anime NYC in New York will pick up from there for August 20th to the 23rd. Anime Weekend Atlanta in Atlanta, GA, will screen from November 19th to the 22nd, and for those closer to the midwest Anime Frontier in Fort Worth, TX will end off the tour with a final screening from December 4th until the 6th.

Detective Conan Synopsis

The genius high school detective Shinichi Kudo finds himself in the middle of a conspiracy, and poisoned for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. The poison, experimental, inexplicably turns his body into a child’s, when his attackers assumed it would kill him. Unable to risk his friends’ lives against the Black Organization, he’s forced to keep his unusual situation a secret, and go under the alias of Conan Edogawa. But trouble can’t keep away from him for long, as he sleuths and helps solve cases while presenting as just a naive child, all while chasing down every lead he can towards the truth behind it all.

Detective Conan: The Million-dollar Pentagram Synopsis

A calling card is sent out by Kid the Phantom Thief for an unusual target: The historical katanas from an elite group of 19th century swordsmen known as the Shinsengumi. The two great detectives Conan and Heiji team up to foil Kid’s heist, but when a body is discovered with a cross-shaped wound, the historical katanas end up in the center of a nested mystery as a mysterious swordsman looms in the shadows.
