Upcoming this month, Labyrinth in English dub will be available for viewing exclusively on May 10th and 11th, distributed by GKIDS to North American audiences. In addition, a new English dub trailer was released by GKIDS, showcasing the English dub voice actors along with more preview content.

The new ensemble features Shay Rudolph as “Shiori”, Jesse Inocalla as “Komori,” Nicholas Leung as “Suguru,” Patrick Mealey as “Yamada,” and Brianna Gentilella as “Kirara.” 

For the original Japanese version, Suzuka from Japanese girl group ATARASHII GAKKO tackles the lead character “Shiori,” with a group performance from ATARASHII GAKKO for the film’s theme song “Sailor, Sail On.” Another J-pop performer, Takuto Teranishi from the boy group timelesz plays “Suguru Kagami.”

Labyrinth was directed by Shoji Kawamori, known for innovating the mecha genre and for his extensive experience working on dozens of shows, videogames, and cult classics like Ghost in the Shell. Alongside the celebrity singers, additional music for the film was composed by yonkey.

Synopsis

Shiori gets trapped inside her phone after yet another attempt at viral fame gone wrong, and a doppelganger replaces her and takes over her channel to massive success. If Shiori wants to escape the internet, she’ll need to team up with other online outcasts and put an end to her doppelganger’s brainrot plans.
