The Animation Showcase’s 2026 collection is now streaming, bringing together 15 animated shorts selected from festivals around the world. Celebrating its 10th anniversary of championing the best of the animated creation, The Animation Showcase invites members of its platform, along with the community of animation and film professionals, to discover some of the year’s most celebrated shorts and distinctive filmmaking voices.

For industry members who cannot travel to every festival, or who want to revisit a film that stayed with them, the collection brings those discoveries within reach. Films ranging from 6 to 21 minutes sit alongside one another, inviting viewers to explore beyond familiar titles and encounter voices they might otherwise have missed.

Among the films in this year’s collection are PLEASE, a recent winner at Animation Is Film Festival in Hollywood; LIVING WITH A VISIONARY, whose festival success includes wins at Sundance and AFI film festival;  APART co-written by acclaimed filmmaker Spike Lee and GOD IS SHY, festival darling short produced by the team behind ARCO and winner of more than 7 Oscar®-qualifying awards. They join a diverse selection celebrating distinctive voices, extraordinary craft and the expressive possibilities of short-form animation.

The collection includes a total of 15 animated shorts from across Europe and the Americas, bringing together distinctive voices, inventive storytelling and a wealth of human-made creativity.

ABOUT THE ANIMATION SHOWCASE 

Founded by Benoit Berthe Siward, The Animation Showcase champions outstanding animation and connects filmmakers with a worldwide community of industry professionals, creatives and animation lovers. In 2026, it celebrates 10 years of curated collections and screening programmes dedicated to discovering and sharing remarkable animated films.

Launched during the COVID-19 lockdown, its industry-only streaming platform now brings together more than 50,000 verified professionals, offering curated short film collections and limited-time access to animated features.

The platform has hosted acclaimed films including FLEE, MARCEL THE SHELL WITH SHOES ON, MEMOIR OF A SNAIL, ARCO and LITTLE AMELIE, alongside Oscar®-winning shorts WAR IS OVER!, THE WINDSHIELD WIPER,THE GIRL WHO CRIED PEARLS, or IN THE SHADOW OF THE CYPRESS.

Through awards strategy, promotion and studio screenings, the Animation Showcase has supported films earning more than 40 Oscar® nominations last awards season, and represented and supported the winners of Best Animated Short Film for the last 3 consecutive years.
