WarnerMedia has just set the launch date of May 27th for their new streaming service HBO Max. That will also be the release date for the first batch of Looney Tunes Cartoons from Warner Bros. Animation. The first season will include 80 episodes, each 11-minute “episode” will be comprised of cartoon shorts that vary in length. Here’s the new trailer released today:
Looney Tunes Cartoons is produced by Warner Bros. Animation and features voice cast members including Eric Bauza, Jeff Bergman and Bob Bergen. Pete Browngardt (Uncle Grandpa) and Sam Register (Teen Titans Go!) serve as executive producers.
AT&T will offer HBO Max free or via promotion to “tens of millions” of its U.S. wireless, video and internet customers. The new streaming service will features 10,000 hours of original shows, library titles and all existing HBO series and original movies. It will retail for $15 a month and be available via numerous outlets.
